We are back

We are so excited to open our doors again from Wednesday 28th July. Once again we set our business to “pilot light” mode but continued to trade every day of Lock Down. We filled your online and phone orders. We responded to your enquiries and served you with countless contactless collections. We gave you free shipping with no minimum spend because you could not shop in person.

We are sincerely grateful that you continued to support us through that horrendously difficult time. We are one of the lucky businesses who survived to be able to reopen. We plan to keep opening every day for a long time to come. It is so very sad that so many businesses will not reopen. The streets of endless “For Lease” signs tell a terrible story. Many jobs have been lost all across Melbourne but lives have been saved.

None of ever want to go back into another lock down so we need to follow the rules. Wearing masks is going to be with us for a while. It is a condition of entry to our store. Once inside please use our contactless sanitizer station. We are also going to ask that you respect our limit of only four people (+staff) at any one time. We would prefer payment via Tap and Go. We also understand not everyone wants that “paper trail” so we will accept cash.

We need to continue with these simple precautions until further announcements are made. It is a nuisance, but it is the health of all of us that is on the line. We won this round but the virus is still out there.

Please take care of yourself, take care of us and be kind and respectful to others. It will take a bit of time for us to become fully operational so please be patient. We are looking forward to seeing you all back shopping at Lucrezia & De Sade
